YOHO was registered in 21ST September 2012 as a society to cater for youth health programs in the parent organization, Kenya National Youth Council. It was formed to support the youth with information on youth health risks and their preventive measures. Since then the organization has grown to support LGTBQ and SGBV support programs among the adolescent and youth in universities and colleges.

The organization started a TUBONGE website which means “lets talk” this has incorporated YouTube channel called “Touch Mondays” through which we create content of SRHR in the language the youth can understand. The content created is in form of short skits, discussions, and podcasts, which can be shared through social media platforms. Through this TUBONGE website platform we have strengthened SRHR information dissemination to the youths and increased online traffic.
